BlogCaster automates subscription-based internet mailing lists, allowing users to subscribe and unsubscribe automatically. It also allows archiving of HTML/Text e-mails with attachments. These archived e-mails can be retrieved by users simply by sending BlogCaster an e-mail with "get " in the subject line. Finally, BlogCaster allows the list maintainer to create one e-mail and send it to all subscribed users. In many ways, BlogCaster is similar to a well known listserv Perl script for servers called Major Domo. However, BlogCaster doesn't require a server and it doesn't even require a high-speed connection.. It runs on any Windows NT/XP based machine as a background task and will even work with dialup.
