DBPix is an Image Control for easily adding imaging capabilities to database and data-driven applications. It can be used with images stored in database tables (bound or unbound) or with external image files. Key features include asynchronous decoding, lossless JPEG rotation, resampling and thumbnailing, EXIF info, TWAIN scanner and camera support and more. DBPix is ideal for Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, Internet Explorer, Visual C++, VBScript, VBA, DAO, ASP, ADO, RDS and most major development environments and tools. Handle images as easily as conventional data types with ActiveX data-binding - Optimize image quality, compression, performance, bandwidth and storage - Manage web or intranet image content - Create 'purposed' images (e.g. thumbnail, detail, print, archive) - Automate image processing and content management - Work with all common databases and field types, eg Access, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and other databases with OLE Object, Blob, or equivalent long binary data types - Ideal for standalone, client/server and browser-based applications.
