Servers Alive 4.1.1

Servers Alive v.4.1 , a full-featured Windows network monitoring program that can monitor any Winsock service, monitor MMS streams, ping a host, check if an NT service or process is running, check the available disk space on a server, retrieve a URL, check your database engine, and perform many additional functions. When Servers Alive detects a down condition, it can respond with a wide array of notifications and alerts, including sending an e-mail (SMTP) saying what is down, paging you with a numeric or alphanumeric warning, executing a program, playing a sound, creating a web or WAP page, and restarting an NT service. Servers Alive can monitor up to 1,000 entries, including all TCP services (FTP, NNTP, POP3, SMTP, DNS, SSH), UDP services (Radius, Quake II, CITRIX server, and many game servers), NT and 2000 services, disk space, URL checks (HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, MMS), MS SQL servers, Oracle databases, Netware servers, SNMP devices, and custom, user-written checks. The program is the first monitoring program to support WAP pages viewable with wireless'>wireless devices. Servers Alive also supports host dependency, and can be easily interrogated using either a telnet client or a web browser. New features in version 4.0 include the ability to run natively as a service, greater control of HTML reporting through templates, team reporting, IPv6 enabled DNS check, access to Windows NT and 2000 performance monitoring, ESMTP alerting, and built-in statistics. Version 4.0 also includes an easier-to-use interface, and comprehensive support documentation. An Enterprise version is now available that supports 5,000 entries as well as being able to log to ODBC compliant databases.
