River North Software Start/Stop NT Services provides an administrator the ability to give non-administrators rights to control services on remote computers. We provide this ability, not by bypassing security, but instead by using the security mechanism already built into your Windows 2000/NT network. An administrator adds a person to a particular local or global group which in turn allows the person to start and/or stop a specific Windows 2000/NT service. The software is secured, easy to use and convenient since services can be controlled from any web browser which supports Java 1.1 or above. Users are not required to install anything on their machines or any other computer from which they want to monitor the remote services.
